Driving in Australia
Driving in Australia is quite safe, but it is important that any overseas visitor understands the simple precautions and differences to driving elsewhere.
In Episode 7 of The Sydney Visitor, we talk about when you would want to drive avehicle in Sydney, and when you are better off relying on Public Transport.
We also look at the importance of driving on the left hand side of the road, wearing your seatbelt, and having the right drivers licence to drive here.

The RTA website provides the best source of specific driving information for overseas visitors. Also available are overseas licence details for overseas drivers.
